Job Title: Pharmacist – Senior (Oncology)
Location: Gold Beach, OR
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (Days)
Pay: $4,200/week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Pharmacist with oncology experience to support a hospital-based infusion center. This role focuses on safe and accurate preparation of chemotherapy and hazardous medications, along with medication order verification and collaboration with the clinical care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and review medication orders, including oncology therapies
- Prepare and compound chemotherapy and hazardous drugs
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy safety standards and protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and infusion staff
- Support daily pharmacy operations
Requirements:
- PharmD required
- Active Oregon Pharmacist License (RPh) required
- Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Oncology pharmacy experience required
- Experience with chemotherapy preparation and hazardous drug compounding
Assignment Details:
- Duration: 26 weeks
- Start: June
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required
Salary : $102 - $105
