Pride Health is hiring a PSC Registration Rep to support our client’s medical facility in Springfield OR 97477. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: PSC Registration Rep
Location: Springfield OR 97477
Pay Rate: $19 - $21 per hour
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7::30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hrs per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and patients appropriately while providing courteous and professional customer service.
- Assist patients with kiosk sign-in and ensure the accuracy of patient information.
- Contact clients to obtain patient orders as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and assist with problem resolution.
- Perform basic clerical duties, including filing, faxing, preparing mail, and data entry.
- Answer telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner using appropriate company identification and communication standards.
- Follow established protocols for reporting and addressing customer complaints.
- Assist with insurance billing, payments, and related front office activities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
- Use test translation tables and follow established procedures as required.
- Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures, including procedure, safety, compliance, employee, and quality assurance manuals.
- Adhere to departmental and company policies and organizational standards.
- Complete all required training and maintain knowledge of applicable procedures.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining adequate office supplies.
- Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- May provide front office support at multiple Patient Service Center locations.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Keyboarding, data entry, and PC experience preferred.
