Patient Registrar (Part-time)
Pride Health is hiring a Patient Registrar for one of its clients based in Michigan.
This is a 12-week contract with the possibility of expansion with competitive pay and benefits.
Location – Wyoming, MI - 49519
Pay range - $20- $23 per hour on W2.
Length of assignment – 12 weeks of contract (possibility to extend)
Shift – Mon to Fri, 4:00 PM 8:00 PM (Part-time role)
Job Summary
Responsible for registering patients, verifying insurance, and providing front-line support in an outpatient radiology and lab setting. Ensures accurate data entry, smooth patient flow, and excellent customer service.
Job Duties
- Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone
- Collect and verify demographic and insurance information
- Check insurance eligibility and update records
- Schedule walk-in lab/radiology services
- Process co-pays and outstanding balances
- Maintain cash drawer and perform daily reconciliation
- Work within the Epic system and complete assigned work queues
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior healthcare registration or administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, or coding is a plus.
