Pride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client’s healthcare facility in Seattle, WA (98115). This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with multiple openings and strong long-term potential.
Job Details:
Location: Seattle, WA - 98115
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Contract Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension or conversion)
Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM
Pay Range: $21 - $25/hr. (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and gather required documentation
- Provide front-desk support and assist patients in person and via phone
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments accurately
- Conduct outreach calls for preventive care and follow-ups
- Address patient questions and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Maintain accurate records within EHR systems
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Support onboarding/training of new team members
- Assist with reporting and process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of experience in healthcare, patient services, or customer-facing role preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills; EHR experience is a plus
