Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Position Type: Contract
Pay Range: $55–$60/hour (W2)
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32224
Shift: Mon–Fri | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Equipment: Siemens PET/CT
Required Education & Certifications (Mandatory)
• CNMT (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) OR ARRT (N) – REQUIRED
• Florida State Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine License – REQUIRED
• BLS Certification – REQUIRED (must be active prior to start)
Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory)
• Experience with PET/CT imaging (Siemens scanners specifically)
• Hands-on experience handling F-18 FDG
• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work across various shifts/locations if required
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Experience with advanced nuclear medicine equipment and imaging techniques
• Prior experience in a hospital or radiology department setting
Job Description / Project

Key responsibilities include:
• Performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures using PET/CT technology
• Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals (F-18 FDG)
• Ensuring patient safety and radiation safety compliance
• Producing diagnostic-quality images aligned with department standards
• Collaborating with physicians and radiology teams for accurate diagnosis
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper functionality
• Providing compassionate patient care throughout procedures
