We are seeking a qualified Medical Physicist to provide clinical physics support in a primarily remote role, with limited monthly onsite presence. This position supports radiation oncology services and collaborates with a network of experienced physicists.
Job Description:
Job Title: Medical Physicist
Location: Hybrid / Salisbury, MD 21801
Schedule: Mon-Fri with EOW
Shift: Day’s (8x5)
Pay Range: $5000-$6000 Gross Weekly
Position Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly, initial, and patient chart checks
- Conduct treatment plan reviews with dosimetrists as needed
- Complete patient QA reviews and monthly QA in accordance with AAPM guidelines
- Provide SRS/SBRT supervision
- Support and contribute to ongoing physics program development
- Deliver clinical support onsite for three consecutive days per month
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy QA processes and clinical workflows
- Experience with SRS/SBRT procedures
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a distributed physics team
Licensure & Certification:
- Board Certified Medical Physicist (DABR) required
Schedule & Work Environment:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- No call, no weekends
- No floating to other departments
Dress Code:
- Business Casual
