Medical Lab Technician

Contract Length: 181 Days (Contract-to-Possible-Hire)

Pay Rate: $30 – $36/hr
Shift Requirement: Working independently on night shift
Position Overview
Seeking a Medical Lab Technician to support a busy Core Lab on the night shift. This is an independent, generalist role covering Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and limited Blood Bank.
Responsibilities
- Perform generalist testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Coag, UA.
- Run analyzers and complete nightly maintenance.
- Perform and document QC.
- Process specimens accurately and efficiently.
- Independently manage workflow during night shift.
Required Qualifications
- MLT (Medical Lab Technician).
- ASCP or AMT certification required.
- Must meet CLIA high-complexity testing qualifications.
- Experience across Core Lab disciplines.
- Ability to work alone overnight.
Preferred Qualifications
- Blood Bank experience (preferred but not required).
- Experience with Epic LIS.
Medical Requirements
- Color vision screening required.
- Flu vaccine (declination allowed with mask).
- Hep B offered (declination allowed).
