Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (Urgent Care)
Location: Edmonds, WA 98026
Duration: Contract-to-Hire (13 Weeks | Potential Permanent Placement)
Schedule: Days | 2x12 and 2x8 |40hrs/Wk
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) required.
- Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient, urgent care, or primary care setting.
- EPIC experience required.
- Skilled in obtaining vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, vision testing, and 12-lead EKGs.
- Experience recording patient history, medications, and allergies.
- Proficient in IM injections, immunizations, medication administration, ear lavage, nebulizer treatments, and rooming patients.
- Experience collecting and labeling throat and urine specimens, performing urinalysis, pregnancy, strep, and blood glucose testing.
- Comfortable stocking exam rooms and supporting daily clinic operations.
- Must have reliable personal transportation and flexibility to work the required schedule.
- Strong potential for permanent hire at the end of the contract; candidates should be interested in a long-term opportunity.
