Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Bourne, MA. This is a 4 month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). And a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organisation!

Specific Duties:

• Room patients, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform and document manual vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
• Complete accurate medication reconciliation and update patient medication lists.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and other routine clinical tasks.
• Use electronic medical records (EMR) and computer systems to document patient information, update charts, and manage clinical data.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Medical Assistant training/certificate from an accredited program preferred.
• Clinical skills training in rooming patients, manual vital signs, and medication reconciliation.

Location: Bourne, MA
Job Type: 4 months contract
Schedule: Shift start & end times: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
Pay Range: $20-$23/hr. on W2
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
