Job Title: RN MDS Assessor
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM & 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Local Pay Range: $75 to $82/Hour
Travel Pay Range: $2,800 to $3,300/Week
Job Description:
- Perform & coordinate MDS assessments for all residents per state, federal, and facility policies
- Review daily census & prepare interim/significant change schedules
- Input Medicaid & Medicare data accurately in American Health Care Systems
- Prepare & transmit MDS/PRI files on time
- Pull Quality Indicator reports & file MDS booklets
- Order supplies & distribute reports to leadership
- Collaborating with Quality Improvement Department
- Perform other related duties as needed
Requirements:
- Education: BSN
- Experience: 5 years clinical nursing, 2 years MDS completion
- License: RN, NYS
- Strong communication skills & knowledge of relevant policies
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
