What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Assistant position at PRIDE Health?
The Scientific team with Russell Tobin & Associates/ Pride Health is seeking candidates for a Lab Assistant/ Tech opportunity in Lenexa, KS.
Duration: 4 months contract with possible extension
Responsibilities:
- Has a preliminary but functional understanding of the QTN Lab Information System.
- Sort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc) and work list Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the Forensic Processing Supervisor.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must have computer skills. Familiar with 10 key. Commitment to Customer Satisfaction
- Computer competency is required as well as excellent data entry skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs, work in protective equipment and sit/stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications:
- Education Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent.
Additional Details
Must be able to stand up to 5 hours a day. Must wear mask at all times.
Job is a production environment.
10:00am to 6:30pm M-F
Pay range up to- $20/hr.
