Infection Preventionist

Pride Health is seeking experienced Infection Preventionists for an excellent opportunity in Spokane, WA. Join a dedicated team working to ensure patient safety and quality care while earning competitive pay.

Position Details

• Role: Infection Preventionist
• Location: Spokane, WA
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Pay Range: $2300 to $2400 Weekly
• Contract Duration: 13-weeks with potential for extension
• Start: Jan start Date

Responsibilities

• Conduct infection prevention surveillance across assigned areas
• Analyze data, identify trends, and support outbreak investigations
• Develop and implement infection control policies and practices
• Provide staff education on infection prevention standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (CDC, Joint Commission, etc.)
• Collaborate with clinical units including Surgery, NICU, Cardiac, Critical Care, and ER

Requirements

• CIC certification (CBIC) – Required
• Surgery
• NICU
• Cardiac
• Critical Care
• Emergency Department
• Minimum 3 years of experience and first-time traveler acceptable
• Experience with Epic charting preferred

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and standards.
• Effective communication and analytical skills.
