Histotechnologist or Histotechnician

Pride Health is hiring a Histotechnologist to support our client’s medical facility in following cities, Tukwila, WA. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Histotechnologist I to join a busy laboratory team in Tukwila, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled histology professional with strong microtomy and embedding experience who is interested in a contract position with potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Perform tissue embedding and microtomy.

·         Cut 20–30 tissue blocks per hour while maintaining quality standards.

·         Embed approximately 50 tissue blocks per hour.

·         Process a variety of tissue types.

·         Follow laboratory quality, safety, and compliance procedures.

·         Maintain accurate documentation and support daily laboratory operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

·         Minimum 2 years of recent histology experience.

·         Hands-on experience with microtomy and tissue embedding (required).

·         Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

·         ASCP Histotechnician (HT) certification required.

Additional Information:  

·         Location: Tukwila, WA

·         Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)

·         Pay Range: $25 - $30hourly

·         Shifts: 1st Shift (4 AM–12:30 PM, flexible start at 5 or 6 AM)
