Job Title: RN Dialysis
Location: Sioux Falls, SD 57105
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Shift:3X12 Hours
Schedule: Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective dialysis treatment according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Assess patient condition pre-, during, and post-dialysis, documenting vital signs, responses, and any complications.
- Initiate and terminate dialysis treatments, including vascular access management (AV fistulas, grafts, catheters).
- Monitor and adjust dialysis equipment and machines to ensure proper functioning and accurate treatment delivery.
- Administer IV medications, anticoagulants, blood products, and fluids as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and revise patient treatment plans and care strategies.
- Educate patients and families on kidney disease, treatment process, medications, diet, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum 1 year of recent dialysis experience preferred (acute or chronic).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
