We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform a wide range of laboratory testing in support of patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to quality and accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing following established procedures.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Prepare, process, and evaluate patient specimens.
- Maintain quality control standards and comply with laboratory safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support timely and effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from an accredited Clinical Laboratory Technology program required (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience required.
- Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist (092) License with Primary Source Verification required.
- BLS certification from AHA - required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Important Details:
- 13-week contract position (extensions available)
- Shift is Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM (5x7 evenings shift), 35 hrs/week
- Location is New York, NY 10037
- Pay Rate for Locals: $54 - $58 Hourly
- Pay Rate for Travelers: $2,300 - $2,350 Weekly
