Chemistry Lab Supervisory is required.
About the Role
Licensed/qualified CLT with 4 years of relevant lab experience.
Monday-Friday (35 hours/week) In-person interview.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s in biology, chemistry, medical technology, or physical sciences or at least 5 years’ experience in similar laboratory including supervisory experience.
- 3 years supervisory or management experience preferred.
- 2 years’ experience overseeing lab operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in biology, chemistry, medical technology, or physical sciences.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar laboratory including supervisory experience.
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology from a program registered by the NYS Department of Education or
Bachelor’s degree in the major of biology, chemistry, medical technology or physical sciences from an accredited college or university or at least five years of experience in a similar laboratory including previous supervisory experience.
KNOWLEDGEABLE IN:
- Working knowledge of ISO standards, and GLP
- 5 years laboratory experience required
- 3 years of supervisory and/or management experience preferred
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years of experience overseeing laboratory operations, creating and establishing laboratory programs and reviewing and interpreting safety data, in a hospital or health care setting;
- Must have a NYSED license as a clinical laboratory technologist.
