📌 Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, monitoring food and drug interactions, and providing individualized nutrition education and diet plans.
🩺 Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely nutrition screenings and patient assessments
- Evaluate dietary needs and develop personalized nutrition care plans
- Monitor and document food-drug interactions
- Collaborate with physicians on diet modifications
- Educate patients and families on dietary plans and nutrition care
- Review labs, medical history, and social data to guide nutrition decisions
- Modify patient menus as needed and ensure proper documentation
✅ Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience (2 years preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics / Nutrition / Food Science
- Registered Dietitian (CDR certification) – Required for acute care
- NY State Dietitian-Nutritionist Certification (NYSED) – Required for post-acute settings
