We are seeking an experienced Echo sonographer II to perform advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiography, and support during transesophageal studies. This role requires strong expertise in pediatric echocardiography, along with the ability to deliver high-quality patient care, assist in preliminary reporting, and support clinical operations across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiography support
- Prepare preliminary interpretation reports, manage study transmission, and complete billing workflows
- Ensure timely response to routine and emergent imaging requests while meeting daily productivity standards
- Provide patient-centered care in a safe, clean, and compliant environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrate advanced competency in pediatric echocardiography and age-appropriate patient care
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, research activities, and departmental projects
- Assist in training and mentoring students, fellows, and new staff
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, and cost-control standards
- Travel to satellite locations as needed to provide coverage
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience
- Advanced knowledge of ultrasound physics, cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography and ultrasound equipment संचालन

- Ability to travel between multiple work locations
- RDCS-PE or RDCS-AE (ARDMS), or
- RCS or RCCS (CCI)
- BLS certification from AHA - required
- 5 years of pediatric echocardiography experience

Important Details:
- 13-week contract position (extensions available)
- Shift is 8 hrs/day Mon–Fri (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), 40 hrs/week
- Location is Philadelphia, PA 19104
- Pay Range for Locals: $60 - $65 per hour
- Pay Range for Travelers: $2,850 - $2,900 per week
