Pay: $65-70/hourly
Shift: Day Shift (4×10 hours) | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Contract Duration: 12–13 weeks
Start Date: 05/11/2026
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with strong interventional cardiology experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to respond quickly to emergency STEMI cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and equipment for procedures
• Monitor patients and recognize cardiac arrhythmias
• Support procedures such as PCI, stent placement, and catheterizations
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Procedures & Skills:
• Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations (left and right heart)
• Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
• Cardiac stent placements
• ASD closures (preferred)
• TAVR procedures (preferred)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with laser-assisted procedures (preferred)
Requirements:
• Active Illinois license (if applicable, must be in hand)
• ARRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
• Minimum 1 year of direct Cath Lab experience
• Strong STEMI response experience required
