Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Greensboro, NC
Duration: 3 weeks contract with possibility of extension depends on the manager
Pay rate: $20 to $24/hr on W2
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing disbursements related to daily operations and capital expenditures for the health system. This role ensures the accurate and timely handling of invoices, vendor payments, and financial records while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Open, sort, and scan mail into the automated document imaging system.
- Process invoices, credit memos, and related documents, including indexing, verifying, and routing within the imaging system or ERP system.
- Assist in the setup of new vendors and maintain vendor records, ensuring completeness and accuracy (including W-9 documentation).
- Review vendor statements and accrued receipts reports, addressing any discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Respond promptly and professionally to vendor and internal team member inquiries.
- Prepare and process checks for mailing.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
