Job description:
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities, including inventory management, warehousing operations, and limited transportation tasks. This position ensures an efficient, accurate, and consistent flow of goods while meeting internal customer needs, regulatory requirements, and budget goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive logistics professional who can align processes across distribution and warehouse functions and effectively utilize SAP to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations to support production and distribution schedules.
• Oversee inventory control activities, ensuring accuracy across warehouse systems.
• Coordinate transportation of raw materials, components, and finished goods (minimal transportation focus).
• Ensure logistics operations comply with all regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
• Partner with procurement, planning, quality, and other cross-functional teams to support operational goals.
• Use SAP for logistics workflows, inventory management, and operational reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Supply Chain, Business, or related field).
• 6 years of logistics experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations.
• 4–6 years of hands-on SAP experience (required).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma/biotech) is a plus.
