Installation Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:

• Up to $45
• Overtime - available and occasionally required. (OT Rate: Time & 1/2)

Responsibilities include:

• Install, start up, and test operation of commercial kitchen equipment following company standards, techniques, and safety practices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and OEM manuals to ensure correct installation.
• Connect machines to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems in full compliance with codes and manufacturer requirements.
• Ability to cut and bend tubing to correct length and shape, using cutting and bending equipment and tools as well as join tubing or pipes to various units by means of sleeves, couplings or unions, and solders joints nd using a torch.
• Level and anchor equipment to meet safety and operational expectations.
• Functionally test and troubleshoot equipment prior to customer handoff.
• Complete installation documents, inspection checklists, and warranty registration forms.
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory in ready-to-work condition.
• On-call rotation participation required.

Preferred:

• 2-8 years of previous experience or training in the fields of Mechanics, Electrical, and/or Plumbing, preferred.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to the trade.
• Expertise in mechanical systems, Interpretation of technical schematics and electrical diagnostics skills
• Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Physical & Safety:

• Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, & occasionally lift & carry up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, open flames, and heated surfaces and liquids.
• Ability to follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
