Priddy ISD
is seeking a motivated, student-centered leader to serve as the district’s High School Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. Teaching field is TBD.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to developing student-athletes, and the ability to build a competitive athletic program while maintaining high expectations in academics, character, and sportsmanship.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for the district’s athletic program
Serve as Head Football Coach
Coordinate and supervise athletic events, schedules, transportation, and facilities
Promote academic success, discipline, and positive student culture
Ensure compliance with all UIL, TEA, and district policies
Build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members
Support and mentor coaching staff across all athletic programs
Maintain athletic equipment, inventory, and budgets
Foster a positive representation of Priddy ISD and the Pirate athletic tradition
Qualifications
Valid Texas teaching and coaching certifications
CDL or willingness to obtain CDL preferred
Previous coaching and/or athletic administration experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with administration, staff, and community stakeholders
