Tutor- Reading and Math - Spanish Speaking

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated kinder Tutor to inspire and nurture young learners during their early childhood education journey. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape positive learning experiences for preschool-aged children, fostering their growth and love for learning from the very beginning. Must provide in person during the week three days a week and hour a day. Must be fluent in Spanish. This is not an online position.

Must be able to teach both reading and math

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and support holistic development
• Create a lively classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschoolers
• Use learning technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and engage students effectively
• Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, organized, and nurturing environment conducive to learning
• Support children’s social-emotional growth by promoting positive behavior, communication skills, and cooperation
• Collaborate with families to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections
• Incorporate special education strategies when needed to support diverse learning needs and abilities

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for Pre-K learners and familiarity with lesson planning techniques
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an engaging yet disciplined environment
• Experience with childcare practices and understanding of child development principles
• Ability to utilize learning technology effectively within educational activities
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
• Background in early childhood education or related fields such as preschool education or adult education is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods for children with special needs or diverse learning styles
