We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces with expert techniques, including smoothing, troweling, and texturing to achieve specified finishes.
- Operate and maintain concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and hand tools efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of concrete forms, rebar placement, and formwork construction.
- Install rebar and metal studs accurately according to blueprint specifications for structural integrity.
- Prepare work sites by setting up formwork, ensuring proper alignment and stability before pouring concrete.
- Pour, spread, level, and smooth concrete in accordance with project requirements while managing heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar construction role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Mechanical knowledge related to concrete mixers, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete cutting tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
- Skilled in concrete forming, pouring, finishing techniques including plastering, stucco application, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, flooring installation, masonry, restoration work, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and safety protocol adherence is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for working on active sites.
- Excellent hand tool proficiency combined with physical strength for heavy lifting tasks required during formwork setup or material handling.
- Experience working on diverse construction projects such as renovations or new builds across commercial or residential sectors is preferred.
