We are currently looking for qualified applicants for a position with the Administrative Team. You would be part of a team of two individuals who work closely together and share tasks to create an efficient, unique and collaborative Office Services team. The diversity of daily tasks means each work day may look a little different. The official job title is "Office Services Assistant/Courier." The position is full time, Monday-Friday, 8:15 to 5:15 pm.
Role Description
As an Office Services Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of front office and back office tasks, including but not limited to, providing back-up for front office receptionist, operating office equipment, ordering supplies online, stocking the supply room, managing opening and closing tasks for the office, sorting and distributing mail, walking the outgoing mail to the post office at the end of the day, processing overnight packages, and copying and scanning documents. On occasion you will assist with research and legal assistant tasks. You will have an opportunity to work with different software programs associated with our law firm, including MS Windows, Office, Word, Outlook and Excel.
There will be some interaction with clients and vendors, and daily interaction with the Admin. Team and firm staff. Attention to detail is important, as well as a clear and professional telephone persona. Candidates must excel in multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
Qualifications
- Current California driver's license, clean driving record
- Poof of auto insurance
- Experience operating basic office equipment
- Proficient in Windows, Word and Outlook with minor skill in Excel
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
