Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper that thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that enjoys working closely with colleagues and clients? Price Page & Company is excited to announce an opening for a Bookkeeper in our Client Advisory Services (CAS) Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals with experience in bookkeeping to work closely with experienced professionals, build on their technical skills, and sustain meaningful client relationships.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and manage audit-ready documentation and full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Process and record daily AP, AR, payroll, general ledger entries, and transactions on behalf of clients
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements (primarily balance sheet and income statement with supplemental reports)
- Assist with month- and year-end close processes
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting and firm standards
- Identifying discrepancies and proactively resolving accounting issues
- Participate in client meetings (act as liaison)
- Possess reliable transportation for client commute (minimal)
- Utilizing accounting software efficiently and effectively as required
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (CPA firm or Public Accounting is a plus)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (including debits & credits), and bank and cash reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online required, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage Intact, Bill.com, Divvy, Etc, are preferred)
- Proficiency is Microsoft Office applications with a strong focus in Excel
- Ability to apply skills learned in one client setting to similar situations with other new or existing clients
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems, tools and workflows
- Understanding of Code of Professional Conduct of the AICPA
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a client-focused mindset
- Proactive and motivated individual who takes initiative for professional growth
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States upon hire.
The position offers a competitive salary between $50,000 - $80,000 per year with a generous employee benefits package.
