As a Parts Counterperson, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent service to customers, vendors, and Service Technicians/associates by retrieving and ordering correct parts, helping keep track of inventory, etc.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)Determine the needs of customers, technicians, etc. and accurately identify parts accordinglyCreate and modify purchase ordersRecord warranty parts returnedCreate, track, and receive special-order parts on dealership computer system, notifying appropriate Service Advisor, Technician, or customer upon receiptProcess and close open invoicesCompare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise receivedKeep records of outside purchases as well as parts received and issuedAttend department meetings as neededAttend annual Inventory DayMaintain a professional appearance at all timesExude strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsMaintain honesty and integrity while performing all job dutiesAdhere to all company policies, procedures and codes of conductQUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust have a valid, unrestricted driver's license (you must be insurable).Must maintain a clean, acceptable, and safe driving record.Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements which include a social media check, a drug screen & physical, a background check, and a Motor Vehicle Report.Be able to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Salary : $73,940 - $96,120
