Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process warranty claims in a timely manner for each franchise or distributor.
- Ensure proper documentation of all warranty paperwork.
- Verify criteria required by the factory or distributor.
- Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the accounting schedule.
- Post credits on the computer system.
- Resubmit rejected claims promptly or receive authorization to write them off.
- Follow up on outstanding claim payments.
- Track warranty parts by tagging them with repair order numbers, dates of replacement, and disposal dates.
- Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor or scrapped.
- Maintain all service records as required by the warrantor.
- Stay informed of factory recalls and bulletins.
- Assist with body shop warranty claims as needed.
- Support cashier and telephone duties as needed.
- Complete other clerical tasks as directed.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Fixed Operations Manager or Controller.

- Must have at least 2 years of prior experience.
