The Project Manager, Merchandising will support the development, execution, and delivery of promotional displays by managing internal processes, project workflows, and cross-functional collaboration. This role ensures projects move forward efficiently by maintaining timelines, tracking deliverables, coordinating with key partners, and supporting merchandising business goals.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while working with teams across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Packaging, and Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project workflows and maintain accurate project information within Client’s Accolade project management system
- Monitor multiple merchandising projects simultaneously to ensure milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are met
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather required information, documents, and project inputs
- Track project timelines, budgets, and financial milestones to support successful execution
- Prepare project documentation, including P&Ls, specification packets, and materials for governance reviews and approvals
- Partner with Merchandising Business Leaders to support execution against merchandising objectives
- Identify potential project risks or delays and follow up with teams to keep initiatives on track
Typical Day-to-Day Activities
- Create and update projects in Accolade as needed
- Review active projects to confirm tasks and deadlines are progressing as planned
- Communicate with cross-functional partners to ensure assigned activities are completed
- Organize project documentation and prepare materials for review meetings
- Support the overall promotional display creation process from planning through delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree or higher required
- 1 years of experience in Project Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry preferred but not required
- Experience managing cross-functional projects or promotional initiatives is a plus
- Familiarity with project management systems is beneficial (Accolade experience preferred, but training will be provided)
