The Audio Systems Engineer will support the Audio Experience Team in developing next-generation hardware and software technologies for Meta’s consumer electronics, including AI glasses. This role focuses on audio data collection, electroacoustic evaluation, and DSP parameter tuning to enhance real-time audio render systems. The engineer will define and benchmark performance metrics, automate test setups, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver immersive and high-quality audio experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, define, and optimize real-time audio rendering systems for advanced products.
- Conduct performance benchmarking and automate audio data collection/testing.
- Define KPIs linking perceptual and objective audio performance.
- Collaborate across hardware, software, and DSP teams to drive innovation in audio system architecture.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years in tuning/testing real-time audio systems and DSP algorithms.
- 2 years in performance validation using SoundCheck, Audio Precision, or HEAD Acoustics ACQUA.
- 2 years of scripting experience with Matlab or Python.
- Proven experience in end-to-end audio prototyping including acoustics, transducers, and DSP.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
