What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-Level Automotive Technician / Lube Technician position at Preventative Maintenance Repair, LLC?
Grow Your Automotive Career With a Shop That Wants to See You Succeed
Are you already comfortable with basic vehicle maintenance but ready to learn more than oil changes?
PMR Automotive is looking for a dependable, motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technician/Lube Technician who wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn alongside experienced technicians, and advance as your skills and performance grow.
We’re a fast-paced, tight-knit independent repair shop that takes pride in doing quality work and keeping our customers safe. We maintain high standards, but we also believe in answering questions, providing guidance, and helping team members develop their abilities.
What You’ll Do
You’ll help keep the shop productive by handling routine maintenance and entry-level repairs, including:
- Performing oil and filter changes
- Rotating, repairing, and replacing tires
- Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
- Completing thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections
- Assisting with basic brake, suspension, and other repairs within your demonstrated skill level
- Supporting experienced technicians during larger repair jobs
- Maintaining oil-handling and filter-disposal areas
- Keeping your workspace and shared shop areas clean and organized
- Following all shop procedures and safety standards
This is a hands-on position. You will be expected to stay productive, take initiative, and find useful work during slower periods rather than waiting to be directed.
