PreK Teacher Ages 1-2yo At Prevailing Faith

Prevailing Faith Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and nurturing PreK teacher for our 1-2 year-olds program. If you’re a self-motivated, organized, and compassionate individual who values a faith-based education environment, we invite you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with team members to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that foster toddlers’ curiosity and foundational learning.
• Parent Communication: Maintain regular, positive communication with parents to discuss children’s growth, achievements, and address any concerns.
• Role Modeling: Actively participate in activities, demonstrating positive behaviors, and supporting an engaging, interactive environment.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Keep the classroom clean, safe, and welcoming by performing routine housekeeping and setting up/cleaning up as needed.
• Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance needs to the Director promptly.
• Compliance & Licensing: Follow all childcare licensing requirements, including mandated reporting procedures.
• Professional Development: Attend relevant training to stay updated on early childhood education best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: CDA (Child Development Associate) or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development (required).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year working with young children in a classroom setting. Previous experience in early childhood management is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for communication and documentation.
• Certification: CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Other Requirements: Reliable, punctual, and capable of upholding our Christian values and mission.
