Prevailance Inc. is seeking a skilled and mission-focused professional to join the Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command (SWESC) team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), providing critical support for formalized naval training. This role involves high-risk training evolutions and specialized instruction in firefighting, engineering, and related subjects at the Engineering Learning Site (ELS) Pearl Harbor.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Support formalized naval training through instruction, testing, curriculum updates, and administration
- Assist in remediation efforts to enhance student learning outcomes
- Ensure safety and provide oversight during high-risk training evolutions, including firefighting and engineering drills

Requirements
- Certifications:
- EMT-Basic certified and registered with the National Registry of EMTs or a state equivalent
- Certified in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Licensed Training Provider or Certified Instructor (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Certified in Heat Stress Monitoring
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to ascend/descend ladders and navigate narrow passageways
- Capable of withstanding extreme heat and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Free of abnormal fear of heights or confined spaces
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Clearance: Eligible for a favorable background clearance
