Position Overview:
We’re seeking an emerging photographer to join our Austin, TX-based agency as a Junior Photographer. This role is responsible for capturing high-quality imagery (product and on-model still life, e-comm, lifestyle and video content) for our beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shoot high-quality photography and video content that aligns with each brand’s individual visual identity
- Help organize photoshoots, including shot list/brief development and set styling
- Execute a variety of content types, including still life product photography, on-model shoots, and short-form video for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and paid media
- Collaborate with the social team to understand products, shot lists, and creative direction for each account
- Ensure lighting, composition, and styling meet professional and brand standards
- Maintain a high level of quality control across all imagery and video assets
- Help manage shoot logistics, including set-up, equipment, and organization of raw footage
Requirements:
- Must be based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate
- Experience shooting and styling product, preferably within the beauty or personal care industry
- Active portfolio showcasing product, lifestyle, and model work in beauty or similar industries
- Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere)
- Experience with studio lights and on-set production
- Experience working with natural light and outdoor lighting
- Experience with retouching and video editing is a plus, but not required
