What you’ll do
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets.
- Assess the condition of each pet’s coat and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Use safe animal handling techniques to ensure the comfort and safety of all pets during grooming sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, ensuring all tools are sanitized and ready for use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor the behavior of pets during grooming to identify any signs of stress or discomfort.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff when necessary to address any health concerns observed during grooming.
