What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician - H position at PRETIUM?
Inspect molded parts for cycle time, physical defects, and critical measurements.
Perform functional testing including leak, fit, and other quality tests.
Verify that products comply with established quality specifications and standards.
Release molds that meet quality and production requirements.
Reject defective material and properly identify and document defects using inspection tags.
Inspect labels to ensure proper information, identification, and traceability.
Inspect assembled parts and packaged units to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Verify integrity of assemblies, including pull tests, proper fitting, and correct component combinations.
Inspect packaging materials, printed information, and production records to confirm suitability for application.
Implement corrective actions when quality issues are identified.
Document inspection results, decisions, product releases, incidents, and rework; submit reports to the Quality Assurance Department.
Maintain a clean, orderly work area and comply with housekeeping standards.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety rules.
Maintain familiarity with safety equipment, fire exits, emergency procedures, and fire extinguishers.
Report unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned to support quality and production objectives.
Do not remove or disable safety devices without proper authorization and safeguards.
Avoid unsafe behaviors, including operating equipment in a manner that may endanger self or others.
Responsible for mold validation measurements.
