Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Applicator / Spray Technician to join our team in the Fort Worth / Saginaw area. This role is responsible for the safe, accurate application of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other plant health management products to turf and ornamental landscapes.

This position requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and documentation, along with the ability to work independently on an assigned route. If you take pride in quality work and want to grow your skills in plant health management, this is an excellent opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Mix, calibrate, and apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to turf, trees, and shrubs in compliance with product labels, Texas law, and prescribed treatment plans
  • Safely operate and maintain application equipment, including tank sprayers, stand-up sprayers, spreaders, and UTVs
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality applications that promote landscape health and meet client expectations
  • Maintain accurate digital records of all chemical applications, including rates, quantities, weather conditions, and locations, using Aspire (or similar software) and GPS-based tools
  • Clean, inspect, and calibrate equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Identify and report equipment maintenance or repair needs promptly
  • Assist with additional services as needed, including aerification, seeding, and sand top dressing

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

  • 0–3 years of experience in chemical application or spraying (landscaping or turf preferred; training available)
  • Active TDA Commercial Applicator License, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire (company-sponsored)
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Experience safely operating trucks and towing trailers
  • Strong basic math skills for chemical mixing, calibration, and application rates
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of turf and ornamental plant health management
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Demands

  • Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Repetitive physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, and turning
  • Prolonged exposure to outdoor weather conditions

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
