Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers, Inc. is composed of a team of dedicated health care professionals that have at heart the mission of the organization of providing comprehensive primary health care services to the residents of the four-county service area of West Virginia in Preston, Taylor, Tucker, and Grant Counties regardless of their ability to pay. This is accomplished through the provision of primary care services that are culturally sensitive and relevant to the needs of the community.
In supporting the delivery of activities deriving from 6 Community Health Care Medical Centers, 2 Pharmacies, 2 Dental Centers, an Optometry Office, and a School Based Health Center, we are seeking a PHARMACY TECHNICIAN to join the organization. This full time position will be at the Preston-Taylor Pharmacy located in Grafton, WV.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Adhere to PTCHC’s mission, vision, and value statement
· Comply with all regulatory guidelines as well as PTCHC’s procedures and policies
· Receive prescriptions, ensure validity, and communicate in a courteous manner to customers
· Assist with accurately packaging and preparing medications for dispensing
· Assist with maintaining the control of inventory levels for both 340B and retail products
· Assist in accomplishing third party billing and maintenance of records
· Assist with daily cash register and reconciliation requirements
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma
· Associatesdegree and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred but not required
· Able to operate in a computerized environment
Salary and Benefits:
· 36 - 40 hour work week
