North Carolina Daytime Auditor (1:30PM - 3:30PM)

Preston CPA, P.C., is an Atlanta based accounting firm that has been in business since 2005 and is a recognized leader in accounting and audit services. Preston was awarded the North Carolina Education Lottery Draw Audit contract and is in search of auditors in the Raleigh area for a unique and rewarding opportunity to provide auditing services for the state’s official lottery drawings.

JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this job is to witness and certify the conduct and execution of the North Carolina Education Lottery drawings comply with all established lottery draw procedures, including the procedures for the inspection of lottery draw equipment, winning number selections, identification of prize winner(s) and confirmation of the value of prize(s) awarded.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Witness and certify by signature daily draw activities and procedures at the North Carolina Lottery headquarters and WRAL Television Studios.
• Ensure the conduct of the drawings complies with established draw procedures including procedures for the inspection of draw equipment, selection of winning numbers, identification of prize winner(s) and confirmation of the value of the prize(s) awarded.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work a flexible non-traditional shift to include weekends, holidays and inclement weather. The hours for this shift are from 1:30PM - 3:30PM.

MUST be able to be ON TIME for every shift and meet time sensitive deadlines DAILY.

Valid Driver’s License and Satisfactory Driving Record Required.
