Lot Attendant
Our dealership is seeking to hire a Lot Attendant/Porter . This is a Full time position with Competitive pay! Opportunity for advancement within our company!
Prior automotive lot attendant/porter experience is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidate strives for excellence in cleanliness. Attention to detail is a must! Is highly motivated and works well with other team members. Has great concern for safety and cleanliness of work area. Is active in looking for things to do for the store manager.
Responsibilities:
- Gas and detail sold vehicle deliveries
- Keep showroom full of cleaned vehicle for display and dust showroom vehicles daily
- Keep new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the sales manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Maintain new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
- Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
- Clean driveway and sidewalks
- Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
- Wash vehicles that have been completed in service
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous lot attendant or detailer experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass background check
- Valid driver's license and cleaning driving record required
- Maintain a clean cut, professional appearance
- Wear provided uniform or Preston clothing
