Legal Assistant/Secretary
Dynamic Litigation Law firm has a great opportunity for someone with a very strong legal skill and litigation experience to be a Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary to small team of senior attorneys.
Responsibilities Include:
- Draft, edit, and prepare correspondence, court documents, charts, spreadsheets, reports, expense reports and other documents; proofreading of legal documents
- Expert proficiency in creating Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Content (TOC)
- Arrange, organize, and coordinate internal and external events, meetings, appointments, conferences, travel arrangements, and catering
- Maintain schedules and calendars
- Handle incoming mail and other materials
- Answer, transfer phone calls, take and communicate messages
- Maintain filing systems
- Assist in assembling binders for case teams
- Support assigned attorneys, paralegal staff, and at times all attorneys as needs arise
- Assist with maintaining general firm office supplies, including pantry supplies
- Assist with ECF filings in various courts including multiple districts and circuits
Qualifications Include:
- Associate's Degree or higher required
- 5-10 years of practical Litigation support experience
- Intellectual Property experience preferred
- Trial attendance/support required
