Now Hiring: Santa Claus (Seasonal, Nov–Dec)
The North Pole is short-staffed, and Santa can't be at every party in North Jersey and NYC at once.
Prestigious Entertainment brings the magic of Santa to family homes, schools, daycares, corporate parties and community events across NJ and NY. We're looking for a warm, jolly, believable Santa for the 2026 holiday season.
What you'll do
- Arrive in full character and make a big entrance (bells ringing, "Ho ho ho!")
- Hand out gifts, read a Christmas story, lead carols and pose for photos with every child
- Remember names, listen to wish lists and keep the magic alive for kids of every age, from nervous toddlers to skeptical 9-year-olds
- Stay in character for the whole visit
What we provide
- A professional-grade Santa suit: plush velvet coat and pants, faux-fur trim, belt, boot covers, gloves and a high-quality wig and beard set. No need to own a costume.
- Coaching on our Santa routine, scripts and games before your first visit
- Balloon twisting training if you're new to it
- Events booked and scheduled for you. You just show up and bring the magic.
What we're looking for
- A big, warm personality and a great "Ho ho ho"
- Experience performing, acting or working with children (a plus, not required)
- Open to learning balloon twisting
- Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license to get to events across NJ and NYC
- Available weekends from late November through the holidays, and open to working on the holidays themselves
- Bonus points: a real white beard, Spanish-speaking, or your own Mrs. Claus
Pay
- Starting at $100 for a 1-hour visit
- $25 for every additional half hour
- Holiday bookings pay more
- Gas and tolls covered for events outside our local area
