Prestige Wound Solutions is a growing, patient-focused practice. We are expanding our mobile services to provide high-quality wound care directly in patients’ homes.
Our mission is to improve healing outcomes, reduce hospitalizations, and provide compassionate care where patients are most comfortable.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide mobile, in-home wound care services. This provider will practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating with our physicians and care team.
We are looking for providers to cover regions of Southern Ohio such as Circleville, Chillicothe, Portsmouth, Ironton, Gallipolis and Hillsboro areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments in patient homes and facilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based wound treatment plans
- Perform bedside procedures including debridement, dressing changes, and minor procedures
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and cultures as needed
- Prescribe medications and wound care supplies appropriately
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, home health agencies, and specialists
- Document encounters accurately in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound management and prevention
- Travel within designated service areas
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio
- Board Certified
- Wound care experience preferred (SNF, home health, podiatry, or vascular experience a plus)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and manage schedule efficiently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
