About the Role
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving operational execution, cross-functional alignment, and accountability across the organization. This role will oversee day-to-day operations across project management, installation, and internal processes, ensuring the business operates efficiently and delivers consistently against company priorities. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong operator who can bring structure, improve processes, and drive accountability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What You’ll Do
- Drive day-to-day operational execution across project management, installation, and internal teams
- Establish and enforce operational processes, accountability structures, and performance standards
- Ensure alignment across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Project teams to meet company objectives
- Serve as the primary owner of investor, board, and leadership requests, ensuring timely, accurate delivery and coordination of information
- Partner with Finance and HR to align on budgeting, hiring, and resource planning
- Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve efficiency and execution
- Track key business metrics and provide visibility into performance and risks
- Support leadership in prioritization, decision-making, and execution of strategic initiatives
- Own cross-functional accountability and ensure clear ownership of deliverables across departments
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 8–12 years of experience in operations, business management, or related leadership roles
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive execution
- Experience building structure and accountability in fast-paced or evolving environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with leadership and external stakeholders
- Experience in small to mid-sized or growth-stage companies
Preferred:
- Experience in construction, project-based, or design-driven environments
- Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and business performance tracking
- Experience working with executive leadership and external stakeholders (e.g., investors, partners)
