We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Granite Warehouse Inventory Specialist to oversee the management and accuracy of our stone material stock. Duties
- Monitor and manage granite inventory levels using warehouse management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Conduct regular stock audits and optimize inventory accuracy
- Coordinate with procurement, sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and effective demand planning
- Oversee shipping & receiving processes, including order fulfillment, materials handling, and heavy lifting operations with forklift certification when required
- Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations, reduce waste, and streamline stocking procedures
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, contracts, supplier management activities, and logistics inventory management documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software (such as ERP systems), and warehouse operations
- Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate with sourcing, merchandising, production planning, and logistics.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and materials handling within a warehouse setting
