For our 7am-3pm,3pm- 11pm, 11pm- 7am and 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am shift:
Prestige is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Direct Support Staff, (DSS) to work with individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. Duties include, but are not limited to preparing meals, housekeeping, assisting persons with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, and other hygiene, and completing documentation. Prestige is seeking candidates that have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care in a safe and suitable living environment. Training is provided.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· High School Diploma, GED, or pass competency test
· Alabama Driver's License (If Applicable)/ID
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to retain information
· Pass a pre-employment drug test
· Background check, (No Felony Charges) and
· DHR abuse registry check
· Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain confidentiality
· Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Duties:
· Collaborate with the Program Director, QDDP, Direct Support Staff Supervisor, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for individuals
· Monitor and document changes in individuals' physical and emotional well-being
· Provide direct support and assistance to individuals in need
· Implement behavior management techniques as needed
· Ensure a clean and safe environment for individuals and
· Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with individuals

Pay: From $12.00 to $18.00 per hour (Depends on education, experience and training)
Shift availability:
- 1st (11am – 7am)
- 2nd (7am -3pm)
- 3rd (3pm – 11pm)
- Some 12-hour shifts (7am -7pm and 7pm – 7am)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
