About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple millwork projects from start to finish. This in-office position is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle — from initial shop drawing review through scheduling, production coordination, customer communication, and final installation.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each progresses on schedule and within scope
- Review and approve shop drawings for accuracy and constructability before production
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with production, customers, and installation teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project, providing regular updates and addressing concerns
- Coordinate with internal departments (design, production, procurement) to keep projects on track
- Oversee logistics and scheduling of field installation
- Conduct site visits and walkthroughs as needed to verify progress and resolve issues
- Manage project documentation, including submittals, change orders, and closeout paperwork
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Follow up with customers after installation to confirm satisfaction and resolve any post-installation issues
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry (millwork/casework experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of shop drawings and construction schedules
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills — able to manage several projects at once
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing interaction
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in-office full-time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically in millwork, casework, or cabinetry projects
- Familiarity with reading architectural/construction drawings
- Background in customer relationship management within construction or fabrication
