PSD Millwork (formerly Prestige Store Display) is a growing millwork company specializing in high-end commercial and multifamily projects throughout the NYC area.
We handle all aspects of millwork in-house From coordination and production to delivery and installation, to working closely with general contractors, designers, and ownership teams to deliver high-quality finished products on schedule.
As our workload continues to grow, we are looking to bring on an Assistant Project Manager to support our operations team and help keep projects running efficiently from start to finish.
Role Description
The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in supporting active projects by handling purchasing, coordinating logistics, and managing submittals and samples.
This is a hands-on position with direct exposure to real projects, offering strong growth potential into a full Project Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure materials and hardware based on project requirements and schedules
- Coordinate deliveries to job sites and ensure timely arrival of materials
- Track and manage purchase orders and vendor communications
- Source, organize, and submit material samples for approvals
- Prepare and manage submittals in coordination with project requirements
- Assist in maintaining project schedules and tracking progress
- Communicate with internal teams (production, installation) to ensure alignment
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project needs
Qualifications
- 1–3 years experience in construction, millwork, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with construction documents, materials, and terminology is a plus
- Experience with purchasing, submittals, or logistics is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Excel and general computer skills required
