Prestige Stamping LLC is currently seeking dynamic candidates for the position of:
Quality Control Inspector
Midnight Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of parts from initial inspection through to final shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform First Piece Inspection (dimensional and visual layout)
- Conduct Hourly Inspections to ensure each press is checked regularly
- Perform Final Hopper Inspections, checking for dirt and foreign parts
- Carry out Final Job Inspections
- Verify information on hopper tags at the start and end of each run
- Assist production teams with problem-solving
- Report any non-conformances to the Quality Manager or Supervisor
- File paperwork, including inspection sheets, certifications, and related documents
- Document inspection results into ERP system and/or inspection check sheets as required.
- Follow all safety standards and company policies
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read basic measuring tools (micrometer, calipers, dial indicator)
- Input necessary information related to product quality into ERP system.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic understanding of shop math
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a physical exam
